Road – Speed restriction of 40mph due to strong winds on A14 Orwell Bridge both ways between J57 A1189 (Nacton interchange) and J56 A137 (Wherstead interchange). Heavy traffic due to accident on A1156 Norwich Road at A1214 Chevallier Street, on the roundabout. Usual slow traffic on Trumpington Road and Hauxton Road northbound from M11 J11 and Trumpington to the centre of Cambridge. Very slow traffic on A421 Great Barford Bypass eastbound before A1 Great North Road (Black Cat roundabout). Heavy traffic on A1 Great North Road southbound at A421 Bedford Road (Black Cat roundabout). Slow traffic on A12 northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock interchange). Very slow traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Delays on A130 Essex Regiment Way inbound from Little Waltham and Little Leighs to Chelmer Valley Road. Heavy traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road westbound before A1245 (Fairglen interchange).

Port – Port was closed between 03:00 and 06:00 Hours this morning. VBS Bookings have been re-instated from 07:00 Hours, subject to weather. Delays are to be expected on inbound and out bound traffic. Further operational information can be found here.
