Launch of Out of Gauge cargo handling service following substantial investment

We are pleased to announce the launched of our new Out of Gauge (OOG) Project Cargo Service after investing £400,000 on innovative new equipment that will dramatically increase the weight and height of the cargo we can safely handle.

The equipment, including a new Timars OH semi-automatic spreader and multi lift modular spreader frames, will allow us to load OOG cargo from containers arriving and departing at the Port of Felixstowe and other ports around the UK, as well as oversized and bespoke items that require specialist handling – something very few providers can handle.

Andy Tattersall, Commercial & Operations Director at James Kemball Container Services, said: “I am thrilled to announce our Company’s significant investment in a new Out of Gauge Project Cargo Service.

“This strategic move demonstrates our unwavering dedication to meeting our clients’ diverse needs and reinforces our position as a frontrunner in the industry.”

Our new equipment includes an 18 Tonne forklift, which ensures all cargo, whatever the shape or size, can be handled safely and professionally.

Andy Tattersall added: “With our state-of-the-art facilities and team of experts, we are poised to provide exceptional transportation solutions for oversized and complex project cargo.

“This investment reflects our commitment to delivering unparalleled service and value to our valued customers.”
