Performance Monitoring
…setting ourselves a minimal target of having 98% of our collections and deliveries performed on time.
At James Kemball Limited, we aim to provide the highest possible quality service to all
our customers. In transport terms, this means a reliable and punctual collection and delivery
service on which our customers can depend. We pride ourselves on our communication levels
with our customers. If, for any reason, we're running late, we will always advise you of the
circumstances and the revised ETA. With our
latest vehicle tracking service, we can offer you extra peace of mind and let you know exactly
where your load is at any time – day or night.
We undertake a performance measurement programme where we monitor daily, weekly and monthly
statistics of our collection and delivery performance, setting ourselves a minimal target of
having 98% of our collections and deliveries performed on time. These measures include a
failure breakdown, whereby we categorise our failures into 3rd party, haulier and
customer error. Not only can we advise you of our overall performance, we can also let you
know the breakdown as well, whether it's quay delays, road traffic delays or even
vehicle/driver problems.
Since we started measuring these statistics in 2003, the average achievement level to date is
93% and we're improving this figure year-on-year. Our current YTD
on-time performance level is 93.4%.
