Operation
With our head office in Felixstowe, we now employ over 190 staff and drivers.
James Kemball Limited has been established since 1973 as a container haulier located in the Port
of Felixstowe. We moved to our current 4.58 acre site – adjacent to dock gate 2 –
in 1997. The company was acquired by "K" Line Holdings (Europe) Limited in 2004. In 2008, "K"
Line Holdings (Europe) Limited further acquired our sister company Ralph Morton Transport Limited.
Today, both companies still maintain their independence and continue to invest in high quality
equipment and systems. We boast a well maintained fleet in excess of 160 x 44 tonne vehicles, nearly
200 trailers of most sizes and types and are able to serve all of the United Kingdom's deep sea
container ports and inland hubs. With our head office in Felixstowe, we now employ over 190 staff
and drivers.
We are proud of our portfolio of customers that include shipping lines, freight forwarders,
trailer operators and other logistics companies and continue to pride ourselves on our commitment
to providing a quality, flexible, cost effective, confidential and reliable service to all our
customers.
